Fagan Wins PBA World Championship; Belmo Signs with Rolltech, makes CP3 finals; O’Neill Was There Too.

We’ve had a pretty good start to the year. In the last 13 days, we’ve reached tens of thousands of new friends, VIP’d at the CP3 Invitational, signed one of the most famous bowlers in the world, provided stats to the PBA for use on ESPN and watched Mike Fagan rock our logo while winning the PBA World Championship. The start to this year will be something I’ll never forget and I want to thank everyone who has helped make that happen.

One thing I enjoyed most hanging out with our Pro Staff this week is how much they rag on each other. It really is a brotherhood based on out-trolling and trash-talking each other; which pretty much mirrors the atmosphere in the Rolltech offices. Hence the title of this blog. Your shot Bill.

I’ll be covering some of the exploits of this past week in the next few posts. Enjoy!

Rolltech Rocks Redondo

PBA Commish Mr. Tom Clark kindly invited the Rolltech gang to attend the CP3 Invitational in Los Angeles. We loaded up a way-too-small Toyota Sienna and road-tripped it down to our rental house in Redondo Beach. Once there, the team received their first official High 5 Rolltech jerseys. Check out the candid camera (and excuse the background music, Pandora was uncooperative)

The festivities started with a Pro-Am, where we got to bowl with the biggest names in the sport.

Including this guy. I don’t know who he thinks he is, but I AM.

Next up was the CP3 invitational itself. There were lots of Rolls Royces in the parking lot and rappers with whom I was unfamiliar, along with Rolltech staff favorites Chris Hardwick and Terrell Owens. The drinks were flowing, the vibe was electric and the bowling was comical. It all appears on ESPN on Superbowl Sunday so be sure to check it out. The show happened to feature all three of Rolltech’s Pro Staff; Jason Belmonte, Mike Fagan and Bill O’Neill – with Belmo making the finals.

The night ended with In-N-Out Burger and things that can’t be unseen. Our CTO is still trying to wash out his eyes – but that’s a story for another time.
